BBC Olympics 2012 Titles

The Adventures of Tintin
Unofficial title sequence of The Adventures of Tintin, I really liked the simplicity of this video, with a small sphere in the middle of the shot, they created a whole universe featuring elements from the great 24 books.

A History Of The Title Sequence
A History Of The Title Sequence is a graduation project from Jurjen Versteeg
This title sequence provides an overview of the history of title design. The names of the most influential title designers are mentioned, all of whom have had a big influence on the development and history of title design. Each designer's name refers to the revolutionary titles they designed. The cut-up typography of Saul Bass' name, for example, refers to titles for Psycho, and the colored circles refer to Maurice Binder's titles for Dr. No. In this way, I've tried to characterize each name. My aim was to give these characteristics, which were added in the post-production stage, as much of an analogue feel as possible. I wanted the visual effects to be in line with the live action footage.

2011 Emmy Nominations for Outstanding Main Title Desig

I recently read in The Art of the Title Sequence these Emmy nominations for outstaing opening titles. All of them are great, If you are interested in video and post-production, I would recomend you to spend five minutes and watch them all. I think my favourite is the first one: Boardwalk Empire.

Editorial Bruguera Documentary Opening Title Sequence
Documentary director Carles Prats got us involved in this new adventure. This time his focus was on Editorial Bruguera, the home of the emblematic spanish comic "Mortadelo y Filemon" among others.
To create these titles we were inspired by the minimalistic environments used commonly in Bruguera drawings, and by enfolding each one of them with delicate and transparent lithographic films representing the invisible soul of the graphic editorial print process of the era.
The Film "Historiès de Bruguera" was made in collaboration with Televisió de Catalunya. June 2011.

OFFF Barcelona 2011 Main Titles
The opening titles reflect their dark thoughts on a possible future. Directed by Mischa and shot on location in Prague, the film guides the viewer through a grim scenario embedded with the names of artists appearing at this year’s OFFF festival. The live action was brought back to Amsterdam for post, primarily carried out by PostPanic’s in-house team of artists but also with the additional help of freelancers and partner companies that we have enjoyed strong creative relationships with over the years. It’s really fair to say that this was a labour of love by a passionate crew of people.

OFFF Paris 2010 Titles
Since 2001, OFFF festival has been held in Barcelona, becoming the globally recognized and trendsetting event it is today. The three-day festival showcases top digital artists, web, print and interactive designers, motion graphics studios, and new music adventurous. OFFF festival provides insight into all culture media platforms. OFFF is spreading the work of a generation of creators that are breaking all kind of limits. Those separating the commercial arena from the worlds of art and design; music from illustration, or ink and chalk from pixels. Artists that have grown with the web and receive inspiration from digital tools, even when their canvas is not the screen.

Robin Hood End Titles Prologue
Otro proyecto alucinante. - Llama a Prologue.

Gaspar Noé's Enter The Void - Opening Credits

Up in the air opening titles

Buenos títulos de crédito para la nueva película de Jason Reitman con la música de Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings
The sequence ultimately depicts the world as Ryan (George Clooney) sees it: distant, abstract, and detached. Landmarks (like the St. Louis Arch) are visible in the sequence, but they blend into the scenery because of the high altitude of the photography. I love the aerial photography in this sequence, because it shows the world from a different point of view than we’re used to in films. It’s the view you see when you’re flying in a jet, where the world takes on a bit of an orthographic, Google-Earth-like 2D quality.

Flickermood 2.0
The next level of this experimental typographic orgy.
